Ultrafine makes general manager appointment

Endoscope and video monitoring specialists Ultrafine Technology have appointed Vicky Wright as general manager. The new position is part of the company's growth strategy, following its acquisition last year by UK security technology company Seven Technologies.

Wright was previously business development manager for SELEX Galileo. She has 10 years' experience in the defence and security sectors, including a year's secondment to the UK Ministry of Defence.

"I am delighted to have joined Ultrafine at such an exciting time," said Wright. "The company has huge potential and the new ownership means we have the support and resources for substantial expansion."

John Patterson, Ultrafine's founder, who will be working with Wright to move the business forward, said: "Vicky's arrival is key to our plans to expand the company into new markets and with new and exciting products."

As well as continuing to develop its own security related and industrial products, Ultrafine will be taking on responsibility for a range of cutting edge monitoring products developed by Seven Technologies.

Part of the Seven Technologies group, Ultrafine Technology Ltd is the UK's leading independent supplier of endoscopes and video systems in the industrial, scientific and law enforcement sectors, and has a reputation worldwide for providing innovative solutions to remote visual inspection problems.
