Today’s enhancements to Vindicia’s flagship platform CashBox, help clients implement multiple business models through usage-based pricing options. These include:
· license-based
· variable usage
· highest-tier usage
· flat-fee pricing
These new options further expand CashBox’s spectrum of business model support, such as subscriptions, micro payments, virtual currencies, hybrids and more, allowing clients to maximise customer acquisition and retention on a global basis. These clients include Bloomberg, Turner, Next Issue Media, Encyclopaedia Britannica, Vimeo, Boxee, Activision Blizzard, Moshi Monsters and Trion.
With global adoption on the rise, SaaS related spend is expected to continue to explode over the next several years and, according to Gartner, grow from US$14.5 billion this year to US$21 billion by 2015. Vindicia’s CashBox enhancements are helping to make this growth possible for businesses.
“Customers pay for convenience so flexible billing options are a necessary competitive differentiator and key revenue driver for any digital business,” said Gene Hoffman, Chairman and CEO, Vindicia.
“Our goal is to support the broadest set of business models and focus on maximising customer lifetime value and revenue on behalf of our clients. We simplify the billing process so that our customers can focus on what they do best, whether that’s developing a SaaS service or delivering a rich media entertainment offering.”
